1969 Bally Joust pinball machine Building Location: Main_C3 Game Type = EM
The 1969 Bally Joust is another of the fabled
Bally Zipper-Flipper games. This is a really cool
feature where the flippers move in to close the gap
between them, so the ball can not drain between the flippers.
Bally made 18 zipper flipper games (not counting
German variants) from 1966 to 1973. Production of 1050 Bally Joust machines.
Note this particular Bally Joust machine was "home use only" and
owned by Bally game designer Jim Patla (game designer for Bally
from 1970 to 1989, games like Kiss, Centaur, Playboy, Mata Hari, Elvira, etc.)
Bally Joust was designed by Ted Zale.
This is the actual game at the VFW Pinball Museum.
